All in all, it's good standard place that has pleasant and really good staff at check-out. The hotel has an amazing restaurant for dinner...

Everything was good, suited the needs, and the staff were helpful and efficient people at check-out. The venue's position was central. Enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I stayed here for 1 day and would like to go back there again👌
Nothing could have been better.

we had a wonderful stay at the linaker, enjoying the charming art deco vibe of the building. our room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a nice sitting area and a lovely spa bath. the location was perfect for us—not right in the town, which meant it was quiet, yet close enough to explore. deano, the manager, made sure we felt welcome and attended to all our needs during our two-night stay.
All good! 😊.

the provided database made it easy to access useful information about local attractions and amenities, enhancing my overall experience.
One minor drawback was the occasional noise from the hallway, particularly during the early morning hours around 8:30 am.

I had a nice stay and loved the large living space—definitely roomier than most motels! The location is also a big plus, just a short walk from the town center and close to the lake. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, which always makes a trip better.
The air conditioning wasn’t working well during my visit, and it got pretty warm at night. Plus, there was some noise from other guests that made it hard to sleep. It would’ve been great if management had been more proactive about that.

I loved the size of the room and how clean it was! The staff were super friendly, and I felt welcomed right away. The location is fine, surrounded by tall trees and gorgeous autumn colors—perfect for a cozy Christmas getaway. Plus, the heating in the room kept things warm and comfy!
It’s hard to ignore some of the issues. The entrance and hallways seriously need some TLC, and the glass I found in the room was stained. The heater could’ve been more powerful too; it was chilly at night. I expected more for the price!

Everything was good during 2 days, really enjoyed its stunning and lovely location near greenery & history-trees, bushland, Lake Sambell Reserve, the historic old Beechworth Asylum, and beautiful grounds. The room was separate and a decent size and well-equipped on upper floors when I arrived. The food was exceptional and there were plenty of dishes in the menu:)))

The family suite was spacious and comfortable, featuring clean linens and cozy heating that made our stay feel warm and inviting. We appreciated the well-stocked bathroom and the ample tea-making amenities. The cheerful and friendly host added a personal touch, while the peaceful garden setting enhanced our overall experience.
Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

The rooms were nowhere near each other, and despite being packed with families, management didn’t handle the loud party in the common area at all. We barely slept with all the noise and mess.
